Mine are Nordic White -- what I wanted after years of having yellowing oil based paints in two houses. ICK!

I don't really have a good picture of the cabinets -- just certain features I've taken. I am still missing some trim -- a long story and one I need to solve, but I keep having other crises. Anyway, here is one that shows some of them installed. It is not too white for me. We did marble and white subways with them and that's the look I wanted -- a clean, polished and dedicated work horse.

We did a knotty cherry island and a wall of blue, but I think I would still be happier with a true white if we had not done those other colors too. I liked the Springfield door. It was less of a change from what we had and I was tired of wiping drips off cabinet trim. I wanted something clean and simple, but not a solid slab. ;-)

I think you'd be very happy with Brookhaven. If sarahandbray still has any photos posted here or in the finished kitchens blog, I think her cabinets are the same color and style. Have fun!

My brookhaven cabs are being installed right now. I'll take a picture when the guys are out of the way.

We chose alpine white because my husband's concession to getting white was that they not be too white. Alpine is just a bit off, slightly grey undertoned. He was concerned about white-white looking like thermofoil.

I have to tell you, although I LOVE the alpine white and the cabinets, I think I would have gone with nordic if I had total free reign. It's much easier to work with trim colors if you go with nordic. I'm having a little trouble right now figuring out how to work the trim (which is BM simply white) through the whole house and I want to continue that through the kitchen, too. I also have new windows which are Pella pre-finished white interior, so that throws another wrench in the plans.

All in all, I think if you go with nordic white, you will love it!

The cabinets are goregous. Mine are edgemont door style.

Well, I guess it works better if you actually post the link. Not that it's a fabulous photo, but it gives you a piece. I couldn't remember my door style name this morning, but I think it is the Edgemont also.

I will probably be ordering Brookhaven cabinetry in "Alpine White". I am hoping it will blend well enough with the Benjamin Moore "Cloud White" trim in the rest of the house.

Right now my whole kitchen is a very white white, walls and all, including "vintage" metal cabinets from 1954:) (The countertops are pink laminate with stainless steel edges.) I wanted a little softer white this time around, to relate with what is going in the rest of my house. If we already had very white trim throughout our home, I probably would have chosen "Nordic White".

Oh, cloud white is beautiful, too. I have it on the lower half of my kid's walls (under chair rail). It is beautiful, and actually looks good against a white-white.

We are still a ways away from a finished kitchen. Tomorrow I meet with the Brookhaven cabinet dealer to view our proposal and we are still meeting with general contractors and waiting for proposals from them.
