I am doing a kitchen on a tight budget for a client. She is moving from a total custom kitchen with soapstone, including sinks. Her budget for the new kitchen is 20% of the one she is leaving.

She got a great deal on the smaller version of her current refrigerator (LG):

The other LG appliances are out-of-budget for the moment, so we at least want to go with one *other* manufacturer for the range/microwave/DW so there is only one other finish (the stainless will look different from the LG, probably)

This is what we are looking at: Whirlpool seems to fit the budget best (also the microwave with built-in kit:

The cabinetry is an off white with a brown glaze. So I suggested this. It would go with the cabinets and by not paying for stainless, you can get a bit more appliance for your money (e.g. a "slide-in" range, which I think looks "cleaner" design wise and avoids the countertop "gap".

I am fine with either one, I think the black on the stainless is a bit distracting though. What do you think?

I don't necessarily think *everything needs to match, BTW.
