I'm happy with my eBay vintage cabinet knobs, but would love to win Horton Brasses doorknobs and hinges -- afraid that's pretty unglamorous in comparison.

But if others on the forum are entering and really need to hit the 25 entrants mark in order to have a chance, I'd be happy to enter out of solidarity.

I'm suppose to get my backsplash installed today. Then I'm assuming they'd grout tomorrow and install my hood. I really wanted to wait to enter when my hood/b-s was installed since the hood will (hopefully) make such a statement. But... that's cutting it kinda close and depending on the remodel Gods to shine down upon me. My tile guy is amazingly awesome but works on "Tony-time". I'm originally from NY and when you make an appointment, you're there within 15 mins. or considered late. Down here, an appointment can mean within a 3 day time frame... seriously. I actually went to a wedding, arrived on time and no one was there. The bride and groom arrived 3 hours later and the party started! So I guess I should just take some in progress pics and hope for the best.

Circuspeanut... the website said they are offering up a 10% discount to anyone who enters. I know that still probably doesn't bring the cost within the realm of possibility but thought I'd let you know. Who knows... you might just win!

Bumping in case anyone didn't see it and needs hardware. I'm entering today but there's not enough people entered so it may not fly. My blue tape handles are getting tiresome!

I'd love to enter remodelfa- some of the horton brasses stuff is beautiful and I think would look lovely in my kitchen. But, as you may see from my other thread, I'm having serious hardware issues with finding something I love!

Plus, I already have purchased my mother of pearl and I AM in love with them and not willing to give them up, and I don't think Horton Brasses would want a kitchen that was partially their hardware and partially someone else's. Plus, I've looked at their hardware and I can't find an appliance handle that is perfect. Plus, I don't know if the finishes would work, I really want an off-white or need a satin nickel failing the off white. Plus, I don't know when the heck my cabinets are ever going to be installed because my house progress keeps getting pushed back (not my builder's fault- storms and additions and changing floors, etc. etc.)

I'd really love to use their stuff for my dining room hutches and cabinets though, so too bad it isn't a general "show off our hardware" contest :(

Hey beagles... I've read your other hardware issues but don't know enough of what's available in your style to help.

The best I can do is hope that since we all have issues that "hardware ones" are the worst that beset you!

I entered too, but those judges are going to need a TON of imagination to envision my finished kitchen. I don't think there are enough entries yet...Anyone else want to enter!?

Dang it! Tried to enter but the site is saying "unavailable". I know I was cutting it close but still hoped to make it. Maybe they are on East Coast time?

I though submission ended June 1!!! That's what the website says. I was trying to get my entry done yesterday, but DS fell and hit his head on the driveway so my evening was shot. Today I was busy with the HVAC guys but I thought I could enter tomorrow!

I know it looks like there won't be enough entries. I wanted to try anyway.

Okay I entered! Hope I got everything required because the part of the site is still down. I wrote up a few lines and submitted pictures of our floorplans as well as a collage of what we are using. (Stove, hood, faucet, doors, flooring, pendants, etc).

I wonder if I did it wrong. My entry was an attachment I sent in an email. I created it in Word and just embedded the pics into the word document.

That's how I did mine too remodelfla...just sent an email with the pics as an attachment.
