Does anyone know what color Pauline used in the shown bathroom?

If it is a small bathroom, you will close is down and make it smaller by using a dark color.

A trick that I use when I want color is to use a faux-finish.
Paint your room a light color.

Then rag-roll or spong lightly with a darker color. (Using Glaze)

After that use the same darker color mixed with some of the base/light color & Glaze and go over the area.

Don't practice on the wall or you will probably find yourself painting the base color again!
Experiment with the colors until you get it right.

When you finally find your colors, start on a back wall first.
When you use a light base for the small area, it will bouce light and not close up the space & with the faux finish, you get the (WOW!) color that you are craving.

I have to disagree with shebeeb (sorry, shebeeb :) - dark colors (if used properly) will NOT make your room smaller than it already is :)
My whole house is painted in warm, light - medium colors, but I couldn't decide what to do with my little, tiny powder room (without a window!). Somewhere here, on this forum, I learned that if your room is small, you CAN'T really make it any bigger using light paint color. Well... I decided to go with rusty red/brown walls and black & white accessories. That's my favorite room now! ;)

And I agree with Goldeneyedaisy. A small room is going to look small no matter what color you paint it -- there's really no "opening up" a tiny little powder room with lighter paint! I love dark-painted, smaller rooms. They're dramatic and envelop you in a rich, warm embrace.

She told me at the time what the color was but I can't find the email! I believe it was a BM paint.........check out 'Raisin'.

My powder room is painted SW Spicy Hue (a dark rusty color) with white fixtures and trim.

What I love about a darker color is this: (which may or many not affect your choice)

We have kids (4 & 6), which means even more kids are here, a lot. We've learned that "wash your hands" actually means, get your hands really wet, squirt a ton of soap that ends up all over the sink rather than the hands, then a quick wipe on the towel, and dripping hands to turn the light off. We had a light color in our bathroom until I couldn't take wiping the walls down 5 times a day, especially in the summer, b/c of all of the dirt that showed. So I went with a darker color that doesn't show any dirt. I know that the dirt still is there, but at least I can't see it and be totally grossed out. I do wipe the walls down often anyhow though, so you don't think I'm a filthy person! :)

With a mirror in the bathroom, it reflects light and the room is cozy enough for a bathroom LOL, yet certainly is bright enough and doesn't feel small imo.

I would say to go with the color you were planning on. The pictures above are both beautiful and great ideas to go on.
