Fast window cover - wax paper and leaves

I've gotten so many ideas from this forum I wanted to return the favor by sharing my latest.

I needed a quick temporary window treatment to keep some privacy in new windows before we get the permanent shades up. By channeling my inner-kindergartner I created a wax paper leaf collage, just tall enough (12") to block the lower part of the window.

Cut two pieces of wax paper to fit the window, maybe leave an inch or two extra so they could later be cut to fit exactly.

Place

1) a piece of paper or thin towel on the ironing board

2) first sheet of waxpaper

3) the leaves or whatever flat objects

4) second sheet of waxpaper

5) a piece of paper or thin towel on top

then iron on medium/low until the wax melts.

This could be simple or sophisticated, as a kid I remember melting crayon flakes in different colors as well. Here is an example from the link below:
