Well out of all those I like the last one best. All those pics seem paris chic, or european flair. Your room doesn't seem that way. The furniture seems sleek and modern, glass top coffee table etc.

I am not really sure. Eventually all this furniture will be in the basement. My husband is from Paris however the room is turning out to be quite modern looking.

Are those your kids in the first? I'd pick that one if so, but then I love big artsy pictures that have your kids in it. :)

Whatever you pick, B&W is probably best to keep with the color scheme and cohesion with the other pictures. I'd choose several of those for the room. Something like this (it's another strong architechtural to go with the Eiffel)........

You say your husband is from Paris - one of the wonderful things about that city (and other large european cities) is the juxtaposition of the modern with the old. I think you'd be missing out on a level of richness in bypassing a photo with personal meaning because it's not of a modern subject.

I was just playing around with my camera this morning and composed the following B&W from the view out my back door. I kept the beautiful red tree in color.

I also used MicrosoftPictureIt to delete the power lines that run in front of the tree. Not a great job, but was fun.

I vote for the last one, but keep it in color. The pop of color on the red awning looks like it would compliment the plum in the room

I agree with rob33...the black and white photos go with the room. The colored photos don't look right to me.

hmmm.. my original point of changing the bridge was to add color to the room. Maybe I could pick the last pic in b@w and put color in the awning?

Actually, I am quite torn. What's great about Europe/Paris (and your prints!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)? Color! We Americans are so afraid of it. Maybe 1/2 and 1/2? The walls where the chairs are (the smaller walls), color. But over the TV another big b/w? I dunno. But computers are great for playing with the color, composition, etc. of prints.

P.S. I love your red tree! I'm actually missing autumn here, zone 7. We have cold... with green trees? HUH?!

The beautiful colorful leaves are starting to fall here in Canada. Pretty soon, we will be getting snow.

I downloaded the gimp program (sounds like an ape)lol. It seems pretty complicated.
