Are you having the walls reskimmed to fix them? If not I would try the venetian plaster to help hide the imperfections created when the wallpaper was removed. Did you consider faux painting the powder room?

You don't happen to have a photo of the vanity do you?? Does your silestone look like this sample?? I see hints of green on my monitor. If so, maybe repeat the Grassland color in here.

I did consider faux painting the walls and would do that if we weren't planning on moving. That would be my first choice. What sort of faux finish did you have in mind?

Lindybarts, the flecks in the capri limestone are kind of gold and bronze, no green. The cabinet is a dark cherry. Unfortunately I don't have a pic and my husband has the camera with him today. I considered doing a green, but didn't know if that was "neutral" enough for selling a home.

We want to move, but are kind of having second thoughts about it considering the housing market.

Sorry I missed your last question about where is the powder room in relation to the other rooms. When you come in the front door the study is on the right and the LR is on the left and then there is a hall that leads to the kitchen. The powder room is down the hall on the right side right before you get to the kitchen.

Oh I think green could be considered a neutral if it's a soft tone like Grassland. I also think Blonde would be a nice safe choice too. Since this room is off the hallway, what color is the hall? Maybe go a shade darker or lighter than the hallway. Just tossing out ideas! ;c)

I like all the faux painting techniques. I would paint it blonde or the hall or study color and faux a golden brown glaze over it. I think it would look great for the powder room, I am confused why you wouldnt do it because you were moving. Is it the expense of having a professional do it? I think potential buyers would like it, not be turned away by it. I have seen many dark powder rooms and they look great. I am not familiar with the BM color in your hallway, can you take a picture. If no on the faux, what about going several shades darker than the hall for the powder room?

What brand is the paint you used in the kitchen? I love the combination of colors you chose! Thanks!
