By the way, I have a fox hunt print framed that I need to hang. It's currently leaning on the wall behind the lamp on my bedside chest, but it needs a more permanent home. I think it would look good but odd (if that makes sense) above the lamp where it is, but I cannot yet decide. I could also cluster it with the other prints, but it's of a different type, so I'm not inclined to do that. And I think I like the boat oil by the chair and don't want to get rid of that. I could always use it elsewhere in the house...

Ok. There is no way in the world I could ever convince my hubby to go to NYC to buy bedding. And when I would suggest that we could save "hundreds" by doing so, I am sure the look from him would only get uglier.

I could swap out the brass rod itself for what Country Curtains calls "antique brown," but that'd be expensive (and I wanted brass to begin with to contrast with the green). I couldn't justify spending a ton of money on a 3" mahogany rod and $6 a piece brass rings like I did in the dining room (Ralph Lauren really knows how to rob you, and that was from an online closeout sale done by Tuesday Morning; the rod was actually cheap in comparison).

I like your rooms, so this suggestion isn't related to your final product, but to your question about hanging artwork. Usually, if you have a local gallery that has a framing service, they will come to your home for a fee and hang your artwork. You can put everything out for them to review so that they can have creative freedom to use the pieces throughout the house as they wish. You might be surprised at how extraordinary they can make your pieces look.

Beautiful choices, beautiful room. Lucky you have a RL Home store so close and got such great deals. BTW, I think I'd hang the hunting print near the chair. Don't blame you for not wanting to get rid of the boat oil, but that space just begs for the hunt print. But maybe it needs a wider frame? It's hard to tell in the photo just how it might fit in the space.

It's BM Colonial Verdigris in Aura matte.

Dump is hit or miss. You really just have to stalk for the good buys. Usually the ones they advertise are okay when they're the expensive ones. The $399 sales are pieces of junk and nor worth the trek.
