Thanks, they're lovely colors - I like them both. DH has such an adamant fear of "neutrals" as he thinks it'll look like a doctors' waiting room. Of course, he's dead wrong - just doesn't know it. :) I'll have samples made up and see how they look in the room. In your opinion, would the creme fraiche be okay with white window treatments?

The white will help the wall color be more apparent, and i wouldn't consider either of them neutral...pale, but not neutral.

I agree with the direction you are looking. A paler version of the background color will give a soft contrast, richer look and pull it together. The print is bold enough that you don't need to accentuate it with more in the wall color.

I think I agree with Annie on the Celadon, but you'll need to see it in the room and next to the white and the fabric to check the tone and contrast. The Creme Fraiche looks like it would be great too. Besides checking the tones of the color, consider that the softer creme fraiche will make the fabric stand out as a bolder choice while the celadon will give less contrast but a brighter all over color to the room.

Sherwin Williams Hearts of Palm is a really liveable green , and would match beautifully. I've suddenly drawn a blank, but the color one shade lighter on that paint strip is very nice as well.
