Type of Electrical wire behind stucco in brick

Hi, Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a 160 year old house with 1 1/2 foot thick solid walls, with stucco over the brick on the inside and outside of the walls.

I need to add some recepticals to the walls.

I don't want to frame out the walls.

I don't want to add the boxes into the baseboard.

I don't want to use wire mold or other surface mount conduit.

I think I would like to mount metal boxes into the brick/stucco and dig out a 1 1/2" channel in the brick/stucco down thru the floor. After inpection I was going to patch walls with stucco to fill in the wire grooves.

Because the wire will be back 1 1/4" the wire would not need to be in a metal conduit for code.

My questions are:

What type of wire can I put behind a stucco patch?

(Most wire is not in code in cement without a conduit and stucco is like cement).

Are there any other options, this will be inspected?

If it wasn't inspected I would most likely run wire clad cable to the boxes but this is not code under cement.

Thanks
