Well, that's a "Jammer", (Bummer in Dutch), that the relay and capacitor did not fix the problem. I still doubt it is the compressor, (per say), Why? From your description of the problem, the compressor "Seems to run ok", until the fridge reaches "Set Temperature", then warms up again and the compressor "tries to restart". It could be an "over charged condition" or even air inside the sealed system. The air will form ice, inside the sealed system, and that ice will impede the flow of Freon through the sealed system and create a lot of "back pressure" to the compressor, the compressor must overcome that back pressure to be able to start again. A "Competent" service person, should be able to put high and low pressure gauges on the sealed system to see what is actually going on, inside it. He should be able to make the determination as to the proper Freon charge status of the sealed system, as well as determining whether there is ice in the sealed system, or perhaps a "partial plug" in the sealed system as my Jenn-air had. Greetings...I am installing warming drawer and convection microwave into an island cabinet in my kitchen. Although not zero clearance, the clearance is less than idea. I was planning to install a ultra quiet cabinet fan in the cabinet with some strategically placed ventilation holes. Here is my problem. Neither appliance itself will require additional venitilation, but both on at the same time might. I thought I could buy a relay that would switch on the fan when both appliances are being used? Can someone direct me to what I would need to buy? Each of the appliances will be on their own 15amp circuit. thanks!!

If I was looking for a relay, I'd get one with a 24V wire controlling the two contactors. I'd hook the exhaust fan to the NC side alone and the heater to the other NO side and controlled by the tstat 24V line. That way the fan can do its thing all the time unless there is a call for heat. At that point the fan would stop and the heat would run. When the heat was done, the fan would work again.
