Heating relay

I have a home greenhouse with a Modine type garage propane heater. The GH also has a 20" exhaust fan.

The heater is thermostatically controlled and the exhaust fan is controlled by a humidistat.

For obvious reasons I do not want the heater running when the exhaust fan is on.

My research tells me I need to wire-in a relay to shut the heater off when the fan comes on, but I don't know what kind of relay or how to wire it.

Can someone help identify the type relay I need (by name so I can find one) and point me in a direction as to how I might learn to install it?

Thanks,

Jim
