Well I just have to vent. So my ss had his b-day the other day. His bm called my cell, but I did not hear it ring and she left a message. She won't call my dh's cell because of her jealous boyfriend. Anyways the voicemail was real snotty and said, "I'm calling to wish MY SON (she emphacized this!) a happy b-day, have him call me!" I thought that was rude, especially because I can hardly tell he is her son since she took off on him when he was little and I have raised him the last few years!

Anyways, he called her back and she had sent him a $30 gift card for his b-day and told me what to go to the store and buy him with it (she said shipping would have been too much). Well what she told me to buy was $10 plus tax more than the gift card, so I just let him pick out something else that he wanted that the gift card would cover. I am not chipping in for her present, she does not even pay child support and she knew darn well how much the present was! Anyways, after we got home from the store tonight the kids had gotton ready for bed and it was a little past bedtime (about 9:00) and I told ss to call his mom and tell her what he got with the giftcard and thank her. Well she started asking him why he was still up (he walked to me with the phone and told me his mom wanted to know why he was not in bed yet!!!!!)

So, I told him to tell her goodnight because he was only calling her to thank her for the gift and he needed to go to bed.

I just can not believe how rude she is, I did not have to tell him to call her. She should appreciate it instead of trying to talk sh** about what time we keep them up till! I think she forgets she is the one who left him and his siblings to be with he boyfriend in another state!
