Ok.. As he pages thru Farbatlas Passionsblumen & John Vanderplank's Passion flowers... It's not Actina, the stem's wrong. Not Ambigua either, also wrong stem. Not Ligularis... Paged thru the hybrids & the ones who look right don't have the parents for that stem.. I'm at a loss. The stem, petioles (those bumps) & leaves are right for Alata, but the flower's WAY too pale. Corona is a bit too long & wavy too. Here's Alata: I don't know. Time to call in one of the Experts I think. Where's Myles?

How to fix a broken window I'm going to show you how to replace a broken window. This one was broken from the inside, so most of the shards went outward. You just want to make sure you have gloves on, and this is really sharp, and just pick up all the large pieces up out of the way. Determine what kind of window it is. On this one, the window insets inside the frame, so you're going to have to remove the whole entire frame to replace this window. We just slide the window over some to take out the frame, and lift it up and out real carefully so that you don't cut yourself or any of this glass falls. And then you can take it outside and you can proceed with replacing the window pane itself. And we have to take the frame apart. There's some screws set up in the corners of each side- just want to unscrew those. Be careful not to cut yourself. Sometimes, near the end, it gets hard to get the screw completely out. And then, you just want to slowly pull the frame apart like that. And you're going to do each corner exactly the same way until you have all of the glass falling out. And you'll have a rubber seal that you'll want to keep to slide the new glass into when you reassemble the frame. Here is a link that might be useful: How to fix broken windows

Unfortunately due to the crampedness in my apartment and the only bedroom with a truly sunny window already occupied there's no way I could get her a grow light or a sunnier place than my kitchen / dining area. The other plants I have inside seem to do fine - anthurium, azaeleas, ivys. Aloe did ok but is happier outside again. I'm in Central Texas, zone 8a. Caudex is firm. El Nino has really confused a lot of plants in this area this year, which is why in the Spring, there were perfect fungal conditions and she exhibited fungal or root rot symptoms. I thought, hey, she will love the humidity - but there wasn't enough light to make the humid conditions tolerable, I think. I work at a gardening center, so I do know the basics on succulent care, and when she had adequate lighting at the last apartment, treated her as a tropical and she did great. I think when we potted her two years ago, we just used an organic Ladybug brand potting soil. Most likely Vortex. Since then I have potted all my other succulents in TGU's Super Sustain with great results. A friend of mine told me that she looks so stressed, I should leave her alone and stick a moisture meter in until the fall, only water when she is bone dry, and then transplant - while originally everyone I knew sung the praises of the Smart Pot, now they are telling me the oxygen exchange might actually be harming her. I only fertilize with organic seaweed as a drench. I like the idea of utilizing a hanger, I'll talk to my dad about rigging that up. I'm not sure how possible it is but it is like if I could just move her on the other side of the balcony bars, she'd be getting that full sun. Thank you SO much everyone for your input. <3

Sorry, I should have posted a photo to start with! Tried to get a photo of the inner parts of the plant but it was hard to show the leaf drop clearly. The pot is about 29cm tall and 29cm in diameter, and the plant is about 45cm tall from soil to tip. Can't remember exactly what soil/potting mix I used unfortunately, but I think it's quite heavily coir-based. The plant food I'm using is Searles Flourish - I mix it as per the instructions on the box (i.e. for outdoor container plants, dissolve 3 heaped teaspoons per 9 litres of water, give to plants every 7-14 days). I'm not sure exactly how much liquid then goes onto the magnolia specifically as I use it on all the plants on the balcony, and I just give them as much of a drink as I feel like they need (so depends on the weather, when I last watered, etc). Haven't noticed this leaf drop on any other plants though. It's a bit hard to properly flush out the plant as any excess water runs off to the balcony of my downstairs neighbour - but I could move the plant inside and do it in the sink instead?
