I bought a bunch from Sierra Trading post-- wait for one of their 35% or 45% sales. I don't know what size I bought and they are still packed .. but the stock changes regularly. I'd just check them out and check back. I am pretty sure I paid less than $5/set on one of their discount sales.

I bought these rods back home, before moving to Florida. I had a lot of windows and did not want to pay a fortune for them... couldn't afford to, actually, even if I wanted to. I bought them at the Christmas Tree Shop It is a black rod that fits 44" to 108" and the square lamp post finials come with it, although they do twist off if you ever wanted to change them out. I also have the Spiral/birdcage rod 14.99 Rod, finial and brackets included Black Square Rod I'm about to order 2 more of them...the ones I have have been up for almost 6 years and they are goodlooking and sturdy... no different than any other rods I've seen Now, if you wanted a bit more choice in styles and not as inexpensive but a bargain compared to RH prices.... check out the second link... many styles.. Perhaps I should have said the bracket should be hung so there is no give (play) in the ROD after clothes are hung on the rod (i.e., do not position the center bracket lower than the end brackets). The inside bottom of the center bracket should be level with the inside bottom of the end brackets. The bottom of the rod should rest on each bracket before clothes are hung on the rod.

Hmmm- good point- I think sketchup is a bit better than photoshop because you can get the true 3D effect with everything true to size and also- look at different angles, perspective, etc. I used photoshop for my last house facade reno (and I tried to make it to scale) - it worked for me but in this case since it's a much bigger project- I'd use sketchup.
