Hey there! If you are changing the paint in your room to Sherman Williams Oyster Bar, that leaves you with a pretty open pallet to design how you'd like. I definitely think you can incorporate a teal, and also bring in the gold and silver, which you already own. I'd try to find a rug that helps to pull from some of the colors of the room (and accessories). If you just want an all teal rug, this overdyed rug would look so cool!

And I also caution you to evaluate your paint with all samples of all hard elements together - so any wood, stone, tile, carpet, major textiles like sofas, bedding, etc ALL together at the same time...again, pure white is great for cabinets and trim but something soft and not so bright for the walls will look more pulled together and ‘finished’. Your first inspiration pic where all walls and trim in all one color is not a bright white like Pure White. Your second inspiration pic which shows only trim/wainscot is probably a brighter white like Pure White however then I ask what was the wall color used with it and with what other fixed materials? If you want a complete white on white look like your first pic you will need to go darker than Pure White (IMO and Maria Killams:)

I can speak only to having done our master bath and closet, and it seemed crazy to me that the previous color was SW Accessible Beige (not dark) and we were redoing in BM Super White. The painters did not prime bath area before painting saying they prefer to just use the paint in more coats, which was absurd to me at $75 a can of BM paint! Took them 3 coats. I was responsible for doing the large closet and although I primed first, still it took two coats for full coverage. I would insist on priming 2 coats if necessary (and cheaper), matter of fact have the primer tinted to the room color might help too. I swear paint is getting thinner requiring more coats no matter what. I've used Behr, SW and BM and find this to be the case. Good luck to you!!

The first house that I bought had pure white trim, ceilings, and cabinets. At the time, I had no idea there were so many shades of white. I figured you went to the store and bought white paint. I would've never guessed that it was anything other than what I would consider plain white. Now I've done my own looking through paint colors and I've seen how many different shades of white there are. Because I've had pure white in every conceivable room placement (N/S/W/E) and it all looked white to me, we used it in our new build, with rooms facing all directions. Still looks white. Never has it ever looked yellow to me. I imagine that the yellowness that you are seeing might be due to what's next to it/reflecting on it, not the paint itself. TL;DR I would go with pure white.
