I use Gladiator brand for the majority of my tools, etc, but still use the Evriholder for some brooms, Webster, and other cleaning items that have thin handles. Sears carries Gladiator and they also carry their own brand that has a similar design but costs less.

If you don't mind hanging the broom and mop with the heads in the up position, then the Gladiator will work.

Not sure what you mean by architectural...maybe decorative?? : )

By *architectural* grade hardware, I'm thinking you mean, "How would Martha Stewart hang her cleaning supplies." I saw something recently where she put up a trellis sideways and put hooks on it to hang garden tools.

I don't have architectural hardware, just a rack on the back of the laundry room door.

But I did tie colorful yarn loops on all my tools to hang them there. Works for me.

I just use robe hooks that you screw into the door or wherever you store these things. Mine have the broom and the dustpan on one, and the dust mop and wet floor mop on the other.

I think if I wanted a basic industrial look (does industrial kind of go with architectural?), I'd get this kind of rod (this one's from Ikea, but you can find them other places) and use S-hooks to hang the mop/broom/etc. from (as long as they have holes in the handles!)

Very inexpensive.
If you really like industrial, you can look at pipe fittings at the big-box hardware store, too.

I currently use just a white-wire over-the-door thingie, from Tarjhay, that has a basket at the top and hooks below. If I had better wall space for my rod/S-hooks setup,tho, I'd do that.
