sex and your step kids

So, I have been wondering lately and figured I would "wonder" outload.

My oldest ss is 11 now and my other ss is 9. Dh and I were at a friends house this weekend and my friend and I sat out on the porch talking while the "boys" were inside watching a fight... well we started talking about kids and sex and she mentioned that her son saw her ironing some clothes wearing her underwear and said to her "sexy booty" which was funny and kind of cute... and it made me think about our boys. Now, I make a conscience effort to make sure things like I am fully dressed before I leave my room... things that I never fully thought about when it was just me and my daugther because I guess you dont really think about those things when it is your own kids...just when you cross into the blended family deal. I have caught my step son doing a few things like... he had a pair of my underwear (one of my sexier pairs) under his bed and another time I walked in on him (after he had taken a shower) about to try on a pair of my underwear.. little things that I have rolled with as he is just curious and entering into that stage of his life ... you know the hormone crazed teenage arena... I made a big deal with DH that he needed to have "the talk" with SS after he told the girls that the barbies were going to have sex.. when I asked him what sex was you said you know like you are a girl so that is your sex and I am a boy and that is my sex... Well... he had "the talk" but it didnt exactly open up lines of communication and was IMO kind of a failure... at one point he told the boys that they would go to jail if they had sex... So, needless to say he didnt exactly open up with them.

But anyways... my point is that I have been conscience about trying to be proper and make sure on my part that I do things like never go without a bra (since I am very well endowed) and get DH to follow up with the boys on the one mishap at the pool when DH threw me in and a certain area didnt exactly stay secured... But, still do I need to be that conscience of that stuff? or is just adult mind set creeping in? I mean BM obviously has no qualms about strutting around in a t shirt with no bra... (seen that on a number of occasions) But then they are her sons but her BF has kids and no one seems to mind... I dont know... how do others deal with this kind of stuff? And, did I do the right thing just letting it roll as being curious? I mean I just closed the door and let DH know a couple of days later to talk to ss about it... that way it wouldnt be as if I ran and told on him but rather a talk about what is appropriate and what is not... ? So ladies what do you think ???
