He probably saw the frogs hanging off the sides of ome of my pots. LOL... He certinly knows where to find fresh "slugs.." He really watches the trees for these little critters.. Since the little Prince took care of his "flower" this seems right tht my frog should be called "The Little Prince" He is the caretaker of the tree and wants to keep her safe... i think this is the right name for my little man!! I knew you liked frogs, but i didnt realize you had that many!! LOL.. thank you for making me think of the new name for my frog... Now, i really am going to go and check on my "Little Prince" to see if he is watching out for the flowers... You have me thinking of this wonderful author.. Today, i discovered another frog.. i think he is a tree frog.. Not sure if he is poisonous or not.. so i just left him alone and took a pic.. You my dear, are making me think of that beautiful bloom... LOL.. Here is the other frog..just for you frog lovers!!! He is only about an inch lng... Likes to hide in the shade of the containers.. Things haven't changed much from Medieval times, have they? Women in trouble still look to a man as the answer because the man has $ and also promises emotional support. Well, it's still true. Section 8 housing waitlists can be years long, welfare is too little and too sporadic and that nursing job is way off on the horizon. Unless Prince Charming is within view, she is kinda screwed. The only other option is to be really relentless about finding good free counseling that can hook her up with some funding sources which are, sadly, few and far between these days. I would start at the financial aid office of the nursing school and the Career Center. They will try to blow you off but keep coming back until they help you.

Thanks for all your responses- As I said, I'm not sure I am doing anything any time soon- but definitely something to think about! It's interesting that so many of you see the room as country, some as modern, or even traditional such different styles. I forgot to mention in this post (probably b/c i talked about it at nauseam that i will be re-finishing the table set a dark espresso stain over the summer, exactly b/c my taste is not country (although I like it in other people's homes, it just isn't for me in my home). But i also don't see the room as modern or traditional. I guess my whole house is a mixture- I'm not sure what my style is ( i guess that would be considered transitional?) I just kind of go with what i like or don't like.. If i do decide to change it I will certainly add some posts!! If I don't change it out, anyone want to buy a light fixture? I've run out of options in the house...

We have a Thermador FD and I absolutely love it. I love having the freezer on the bottom most of all, so you could have the same thing with a single door on top. I'll never have a top freezer again. I love that I can look down into the freezer and see what is in there, and can easily move things around, to see what is on the bottom without a frozen steak falling out on my foot. The Thermador also has a top drawer in the freezer that that slides out and that is where I keep things I use most frequently. That is also where the ice maker is. I love that also because it is so easly to scoope ice out and my kids can reach it easily and get their own ice. I had a side by side when we moved into this house and I despised it. Never again. As for the french door vs. single door on top -- I like the FD. We would have clearance issues with a big door opening into a fairly narrow aisle so the FD works better. And I have the fridge paneled with cabinetry. I think the FD has more of a furniture look than a single door. The Thermador is also fully integrated. It is totally flush and doesn't stick out at all, and I love that. But the shelves in the fridge are pretty high up, and if you are short, it might be an issue. And my kids can't really reach into the fridge yet, although they will soon. And I do mostly open both doors every time I open the fridge, but it is more a habit than a necessity, and it doesn't bother me in the slightest.
