Only two weeks left to sign up. In my first post suggesting the idea, some people said they would like to be included in the summer junk exchange but haven't sent us their information yet. No pressure... we just want to make sure we include everyone who wants to be a part of the summer junk exchange. So, sign up by May 1st...and the junking will begin! This is going to be so much FUN! What a wonderful find. I saw one in a gardening magazine, except larger and I have wanted on ever since. Beautiful and I love what you have done with it.

I love good flea markets that sell junk and not so much new stuff and clothes, altho there is one here that sells mostly new stuff, appliances, clothes, etc...mostly hispanics...but once in awhile there will be a good buy on a piece of junk because they really aren't interested in stuff like that usually. I like yard sales, estate sales, auctions, dumpster diving, curb shopping. I am mostly into stuff for the garden now, since I've filled my house a few times over, but I won't turn down a neat piece of junk for the house. Last week I found two old faux bois planters. I had to think "WWMD?" Ha! Not really. (What would Martha do?) Martha collects faux bois...fake wood...made out of cement. I jumped at them for $10 for both.

Alright, alright..stop hatin' on the purse y'all :) :) My mother tells me it's "quite fashionable", lol. Maybe that should be my first sign to run..not walk away from it :) I'll put some more pics up of the whole space. I'm needing some help pulling some other things together to make this table work. I've been ready and quite willing for awhile to make a change. And this has helped set me on that path. Kathleen, great idea about using them as an end table. I'll be needing something, once I get rid of some of the other stuff I have. I may have a spot. Although, they're not quite as big in person as they appear in the pic. Thanks again everyone! So far, I've yet to have any buyer's remorse :)
