While those bridesmaid dresses were not something I would pick, I think they did look better in person but not on all the women, unfortunately. My photos were somewhat blurry. What I don't like about bridesmaid dresses in general is that unless all the women look the same, have the same body style, the same dress will not look good on everyone. This was noticeable at this wedding. I would love to see a wedding were the maids dresses could be made different for each person. With my wedding almost 29 years ago, my maid of honor was concerned about her arms. We had the seamstress make sleeves on her dress but not the others, which has spaghetti straps. It looked fine.

maire_cate that is an interesting thread but I don't think I have been to that forum. The thing is some time back GW belched or something and lost a lot of the threads so even doing a search now does not always turn up past threads. sleeperblues did you notice I did not mention how much I love the look of the Berkin? LOL I do I admit I have Berkin lust, definitely do not have Berkin money however. I even looked at some of the good fakes and they are several hundred dollars too. I agree the purses like Coach and Dooney and a few others are pricey but they have a life time guarantee and they do honor them, so for something that will be with you for a lifetime I have been known to open the piggy bank. Purses have long been my drug of choice it is a sick addiction! LOL Everytime my eyes glaze over when I spot one I must have my husband just shakes his head and says you have tons of purses, yes and you have tons of power tools. That pretty much ends that discussion.

I was waaaaay to impatient to wait that long before mosaicing my front column - 'twas five days and I pulled the cardboard off and mosaiced away.

I have been seeing a new trend all over the Houston area and in Louisiana . Girls wearing colorful rubber boots with shorts and every day wear . I own a couple pair of these rubber boots but use them in rain and wet areas . They were very helpful during the flood . But they are hot and heavy and not terribly comfortable . They are cute in all of the prints and colors . I have also seen the cowboy boots in rubber now those are pretty nice and much more comfortable but still hot . My sister has a pair I really like . But I don't get wearing any heavy rubber boots in the heat of the Houston summer , it's been cooler lately but I am talking about months ago .
