What do you think of these flooring choices (and backsplash)?

These are the three we liked best at the store. If you don't think any will work, of either floor or tile, which way do you think I should go, like more gray, more red, darker, etc.

The first two are the same floor, just different color, oak engineered, made in USA. The third is hickory, wood from USA, but made in China, and currently on sale for half the price of the other two. The third one is almost the same color we have now, and our dining room seems pretty dark. I originally wanted to go lighter to brighten the room and so it wouldn't be an "almost but not quite" match with the kitchen tile.

Our kitchen cabinets are dark, as are the mantle and beams in the dining room.

And while there, I looked for backsplash tile. I know I want a subway type ceramic that looks like travertine. This one is bigger than I had in mind, but it looks good. Same tile, two shades. The first one is a gray tone and the second is bisque.
