I did a bathroom with that tile once. Vanity in black would be chic, or just go with white that would work too. I spec'd Ellen Kennon's Mushroom for the walls. Probably breaks some kinda 'undertone rules' but it looked fabulous. Here is a link that might be useful: Original Full Spectrum paints

After looking you the colors you mentioned I like them both and think they would work. I have BM Caponata in my laundry room and really like it. I would get samples of both to test them in the lighting with your other elements. It going to depend on how dark everything reads when it's all in the room together with your lighting. One of your colors is lighter and the other darker. Though nice and moody I'd still want to make sure there's a little contrast. Whatever artwork you use I'd consider repeating the gold from the vanity top with the frames or even within the actual artwork.

Hi Bharat- I couldn't find your paint color on the internet so I can't see what your paint color looks like. I absolutely disagree that your powder room can be dark. Your guests will use it, and the female guests will want to check their cosmetics and they can't do it in the dark! Although a dramatic powder room is fine. Is that what you want? I would find a coordinating ceiling fixture, and when you have it installed, have the electrician do it so that when you turn the lights on all the fixtures go on at the same time. If you have not already done so, please install a fan for the room that also goes on automatically when the lights go on. What I would have done would have been to install a ceiling fixture and sconces on either side of the mirror, they are much more flattering, and better lighting for putting on cosmetics, too. As for your paint color, if you feel it is too dark or too intense, you can either change it, or you can stencil a pattern over it in a lighter color glaze or a gentle metallic which would give it the look of a damask wallpaper which would be just marvelous. A paisley style design would be interesting as well. Pick a design that is appropriately scaled size of the room. Since it such a small room, it wouldn't take long, and you can do it yourself or pay some one to do it.
