I recently quit using my favorite for dishes (Dawn). My hands are very dry and sensitive. I bought Ecos Ultra Hand Dishwashing at Costco. It came in a 2 pack --Natural Pear and Natural Grapefruit. The pear is a faint fragrance and does a decent job cleaning. It is easier on my hands. Haven't tried the grapefruit yet. The bottle says 100% all natural, petrochemical free, neutral PH, easy on hands, derived from coconut oil. Haven't tried it in the pump yet -- but will when the pump runs out of the current soap. Although it isn't quite as good as Dawn, I'll buy Ecos again.

Wife & I use Palmolive original for everything.

I even use it for shampoo.

7th Generation unscented for us.

Palmolive soft touch. It smells good too.

My DH washes the dinner dishes. I can't believe how much soap he uses (wastes). I hope he doesn't wear out the dispenser!

Dawn for dishes works at our house...

We have been doing this for years but we cannot use regular commercial dish soap. It would take a layer of skin off our hands! Any of the "natural" kinds of things do fine. I have used Method, 7th Generation, Ecover, Simple Human, the Whole Foods or Trader Joe's brands. All work fine and don't ruin our hands. It's nice to have one less bottle at the kitchen sink.

We use Dawn. For dishes, its ~3 pumps of soap. For hands its ~1/2 pump of soap. I made the mistake of buying the Dawn Power Clean once (the one that has the power of an overnight soak in 5 minutes) and it ate my hands up. I made sure to pick up the regular Dawn on the next trip. I don't do any special moisturizing of my hands or anything other than rubbing in a little all purpose lotion in the morning right before I put my rings back on. That's it!
