Are you sure that Wallflower is the name of the color? It doesn't come up on the Behr site, and on My Perfect Color a lavender from Sherwin Williams comes up.

Do you have a specific use for that little bit of counter to the left of the pantry? If not, I'd consider reconfiguring the pantry to take that space and give more around the stove.

I think the Wildflower Honey is awfully bright, and will be intensified by fluorescent lighting. You might want to go lighter in the row of yellows or slightly grayer yellow.

I like vinyl flooring, but I tend toward patterns that don't try to look like something (currently hard to find) or if mimicking something, still pretty neutral.

I am pretty much the same way about standard laminates. Here are some that I like but None of these except the Black will stand up to that wallcolor--and many of the Formica patterns won't. That's another reason to tone down the wallcolor.

Wow that yellow is bright! Yellow is one of the hardest colors to select. I remember Lynette Jennings saying she painted a room something like 10 times before she got the right shade.

However bright it seems on a chip, it always comes out even brighter when it's on the walls surrounding you. I think you can tone that way down and still get a strong sense of yellow that you are looking for.

I'm sorry but the kitchen floorplan is giving me an off-center headache. Is the house plan a stock plan or can you make any changes? For example: Can you shift the sink wall up towards the DR and put the door to the deck at the pantry end of the sink wall? That would give you a tighter work triangle and would also alleviate a potentially chaotic traffic area around the sink/laundry room/ space. Just a thought.

Yup just a stock plan, I don't get to change it. There was an option to move the stove to where the window is and make a pass through, but I really want that window over the sink. The yellow is super bright, but there aren't many places that actuall show wall so I figured it would be ok. Ill def do small samples to see if I like it in person first, I just saw it in one of the inspiration behr books and fell in love hah. I'm having a hard time finding vinyl that doesn't make a poor attempt at mimicking something too. I wish there was a plain ish dark one!

Actually the small amount of square footage that it covers may have more of a negative impact.

Large areas of intense wall color may look less intense because of low contrast.

A bright yellow with white cabinets is going to be intensified because of high contrast. You will be creating a strong horizontal stripe at the ceiling, one between the upper and lower cabinets unless you do a full backsplash and
intermittent vertical stripes of various widths around the cabinets and door ways.

It will also make anything but the darkest formica patterns look pastel.
