Best place to buy OXO pop containers (X-post)
Comments (10)I use the Bed Bath & Beyond coupons for them - save 20% off each one. They take more than one coupon if you are buying multiple items, and they take their "expired" coupons. You can also get coupons sent via e-mail, but they are strict about the expiration date on those. You can also ask your friends if they have an extra coupon if you want to buy alot of these. My friends & I share them back & forth....See MoreSIL hip replacement keeps 'popping out'
Comments (10)Sooz, those components being displaced and being displaced more than once means somethings wrong. Who has been treating - the emergency room doctors or do they call a orthopedist for her. The surgeon who originally placed the hip should certainly know or be addressing it. Dislocating an artificial hip isn't all that common unless someone is going way outside the prescribed range of motion during the initial healing process (10 weeks post surgery approx)...but you'd (patient) have to be doing something reckless or experience a fall to even dislocate it then. The muscles and ligaments should support it once fully healed (again, if not engaging in reckless behaviors like downhill skiing, off trail hiking, singles tennis) - if it displaces more than once it would normally be surgically revised. Period. I don't know what to say about the insurance but she's certainly within her rights to have a functioning hip one year after surgery, I'd be wondering if it was a poor fit, poor surgery...either would be the responsibility of the surgeon, proper sizing is his job. There are surgeons who specialize in revising previous replacements that are failing...I don't know where she is but I know of two in that category in the Seattle area and I would imagine most major city surgical centers would have them. A primary care doctor she trusts could do that research for her; as another starting point - it would be a name a good well established physical therapist could likely provide too....See MoreJanome Bobbin Jamming... grrr
Comments (24)That's expensive! You've verified your bobbin and top stitch are equal? Does it do this no matter what thread you use? Can you return the machine? Ya never know, it could be a lemon. Don't blame yourself btw, it could just be a factory error in manufacturing. Women always blame themselves lol. If you buy a new machine don't forget to oil it before you first use it. They say "it's oiled" 99% of the time they haven't and it can lead to problems. It's that little hole you see when you drop a bobbin in. Oh, do you have the right thread bobbin? They all look alike but there are different "model" types for bobbins. It'll be a litter like S or C and verify you've got what the mfgr says you need. Wouldn't it be nice if that was the problem? Keep me posted :D...See MorePaint exterior pop-outs a different color or not?
Comments (35)what if you brought in some terra cotta pots w/the jute/black mats/rug? maybe did a birdbath, southwestern style, in the middle ? suround it w/some native plants? so many cool ways to add some color right there. bubbling urn, terra cotta, lots of boulders/pebble rock, container plants, I'd prob do something like these rocks, the bubbling urn or a colorful birbath, some mexican pebble rock up aginst the cobble, a few plants in a some colored pots. or something simple like this with a little pathway, the bench, some solar lights or, a little bistro table chairs i'd layer something like this on top of the larger jute rug. how about a place to sit? love these two colors (the wood) w/the terra cotta, black and the aqua (and copper) (oh, but you don't like this color, right? w/the black and copper, I think it's a nice addition. use the cobalt if you prefer) a southwestern style bench up against that part of the wall (you could always do this bench in the color that you like. ) a sun on the wall behind it, a copper southwestern style door handle, and pots to match? maybe a southwestern door mat. These are just thrown together. you could pick better colors and styles. gave you the wood bench here w/the cobalt pot. love these colors...See Morepattiohio
