Doesn't her pattern give the required # of st to the inch, etc? I hate to knit a swatch, but I knit very loosely, so it's a must for me....I generally use much smaller needles to achieve the desired size, and even then mine always end up somewhat 'generous'!

IMO it didn't look that great. I think if the fabricator orders extra material, the seams can be joined in a way that looks nice. Of course, it would cost you more. Kind of like sewing with a fabric that has a pattern - you buy extra material if you want the seams to match - costs more but looks much nicer. It seems to me that you don't have to limit yourself to the color witch hazel in your search for photos of corian seams. It might help to search for any of the colors in the Corian "Private Collection" as most/all of them have a veining pattern with movement.

After growing these pines indoors, they definitely don’t like their roots disturbed. However, that doesn’t mean I don’t disturb them. With say a Ficus, I can be rough, remove all soil, blast roots with water and prune them and the tree won’t skip a beat. With the Norfolk Island pine, it always gives me a little bit of a hard time when I do a full repot. Some branches always die and fall off and it takes a little bit to get back on track. Mine hasn’t been repotted in over two years and is still currently putting out beautiful growth. im planning on repotting in June though. I would also wait until that point U S. If you’re in the northern hemisphere. If you’re in the Southern Hemisphere, well, them now is a great time. the 5:1:1 mix is a great choice for this tree.

We went from a King to a Queen. We downsized houses and our Master bedroom is smaller. The King just ate up the room and I also HATED putting sheets on the King. To make it easier to figure out which side was the top/bottom or side/side of the fitted sheet, I got sheets that had an up and down pattern. I decided to get the Queen and we personally like it so much better! We got a flanged bed from Wayfair-it is a platform-upholstered headboard and all the way around-so no sharp corners and is very sturdy. Hubby is 5'10 and I'm 5'4" so we fit in the Queen really well.
