have: wanted: sewing machine in atlanta
Comments (2)I would like to make a puppet theater as well as some puppets for my daughter and need a sewing machine. The budget is very tight, so I cannot afford to buy one at the prices I have been seeing. I am not looking for anything fancy, just something that works. If you happen to have one that you want to get rid of, please let me know. We are in Grant Park, but will drive to pickup as needed. Comments (9)Hi - my name is Sarah from Montgomery Ward. We’re excited to read the conversation around this model of our sewing machine. After checking our records we regret to inform you that we do not have the manual for Montgomery Ward/Signature model # UHT J-2001 machine. However, we offer a number of similar, more modern models in our online store, which may have similar manual components. https://www.wards.com/Home-Store/Housewares/Sewing-and-Ironing/index.cat...See MoreWANTED - Morse 'pink' sewing machine

Comments (7)I'm afraid I'm not very careful about turning my machine off when not in use for a while. It's often on for hours. The light's on too. I've not replaced the light in the six years I've had my Janome 6600. I do unplug it when I leave for the winter months. I've been unplugging my sit-down Tiara when I'm not using it. We have a lot of electrical storms here and are always losing power. I wouldn't want to fry the computer on that one. I think it weighs 60 pounds, and hauling it in to the repair shop would be tough, not to mention expensive....See Moremary_c_gw
