Gosh Jeanne...I'm sorry I'm late, but so glad I didn't miss this. Love all your beautiful Valentine touches and especialy seeing Dollbaby enjoying the holiday too! Your berry garland candleholder looks so pretty and your buffet in the background always looks lovely. Tea Set looks nice and shiney and with the red accents added makes a beautiful vignette. Dollbaby's new/old outfit is so cute - even her little shoes! Her little tray scape - even crocheted placemat is adorable. I have to say, my eye was drawn to her little cupie doll...I can't believe your Mom made that cute little outfit...how precious. I'm amazed you got this all done in such a short time. I'm going to give it a try, what do you use to cut the roll in half? Maybe a bread knife? Thanks! A saw. I picked up a cheap fine toothed saw at the dollar store. Its small and fits in my kitchen drawer. I originally bought the saw for something else but got the idea for cutting a roll of paper towels in half from here at GW I think. I think it was in the *Money Saving Tips* forum. Maybe not. I wish could take credit for the idea but it came from some "Tips" website somewhere. You could try a bread knife but I think it should be one of those newer Ginsu style knives that are not so jagged.

Thanks for the update! Sorry about the gray. One of the Behr floor paints comes in some lovely colors, too! But it'll be really durable, I bet. And easy to wipe down. That shoe organizer will be helpful. If you decided you wanted to try to use the side walls, but you need to be able to take everything off the wall to pull the stairs down, you could use Command hooks to hang shoe pockets on the wall too. (I cut shoe pockets down to all sorts of custom sizes.) (I say Command hooks because you can easily lift the hook off the self-stick part, so it would be out of the way) The Command brand also has wall-mounted spice racks and other small wall-mounted baskets/bins. I bought some from their bathroom line. Those would also lift off out of the way.
