When I write titles and captions on my scrapbook pages, I either just print ir neatly, or use those ball and pole letters. Where could I learn how to do different letter styles? I thought maybe there would be someplace on line where I could download different alphabet styles, and then just mimik them in my scrapbook.

I took a lettering class at my LSS. Let's just say that I was very disappointed. She told us to buy a book called the ABC's of lettering (which is great by the way)She just needed to have practised a bit more before coming to class. I suggest this. Look up fonts with a search (I got a bunch of sites from this forum in previous posts) When you do find some that you like the best thing you can do is buy one of those Journaling Genie dissappearing ink pens. Write the letters out in that and then when you have it spaced right, go over it in your markers. All your mistakes dissappear in a couple of days with the magic ink and there aren't any erasure marks from the pencils. That's the best $$ I ever spent when I bought one of those pens!

I have found that as my siblings age they are spending less time doing more physically challenging activities and concentrating more and more on food related activities. I am 62 still work 10 hours a day, clean my own home, care for 2 dogs, love to garden, and am renovating my home. My siblings are all retired. The younger retirees are still somewhat active, but do have more time on their hands and have focused their energy largely on cooking. The older siblings were similar, but as mobility and other age related limitations occur I see them spending even more time on food related activities. They planned a group trip last year to drive the Philadelphia to eat lunch at some fancy restaurant. I was working and wouldn't have gone even if I wasn't working. Drive 2 hours to have lunch and then drive back! Better things to do with my time. (They picked lunch so they wouldn't have to drive on the freeway after dark.)

That's incredibly funny. I think I'd find it really entertaining and am afraid to look too closely right now. I have too much going on to find myself down the rabbit hole. Maybe later, like after Fall. I'll look forward to it then.....😁

well, I think they put on a seed mixture of a native meadow on there as well, other plants I could ID were Plantago lanceolata Anthyllum Potentilla, 2 species Allium schoenoprasum annual Sonchus Hypericum perforatum (moss, Sedum spec., lichen) and yes, birds are a likely "seed taxi"

The ABC's of Lettering is a good book! I also have a few letter templates that work great. Practice, practice, practice is the best advice I can give...I also gotta get me one of those Genie pens!! :o)
