Feed stores are the best place price wise. I've paid $45 dollars for 50lbs and applied it to the entire property. Once a year is optimal. Of course, I only did it once but I spray several times a year. I probably will try kelp meal before summer kicks in to see if they made any differences. Dchall- what did you mean by not using 45lbs of it in your lifetime? The recommended rate was 10lbs per 1000 sqft, at least I think???

And if the pots weren't cleaned absolutely sterile your quarantine people would hang draw and quarter you, LOL. That's what you get for being a plantaholic. I've just got back from holidays. While travelling all these seeds would keep "falling" into my pockets. Of course now a lot are sprouting and I've no idea what most of them are, other than "Surprise Plants". I work at a nursery. We have lots of clients who call and ask about recycling plastic pots. We take them back and they go to a recycling facility. However, several clients asked for large tubs to grow peppers on their patio. I always show them the recycle area where they are happy to get FREE #7, #10, #15 or #25 pots. Perhaps a nursery near you does the same. The price is right (free) and you are recycling the pot to be used again.
