Happy Easter back at you guys! I am going to make Sequita and mom cook (shh! They don't know it yet!) while I try and work on mom's apartment, I would love to take the day off but the furnace guy is expected to finish installing the furnace on Mon. :( , so the dry wall and the rest of the insulation has to be put up and yep, I am taking pictures of the renovations. Penny who has no little grandkiddies yet to hunt eggs with :(

My father in law is visiting for the weekend so it will just be a few of us but I plan on doing a little easter egg hunt for my 2 year old. She loved the one we did with our playgroup so I'm taking advantage and doing it again. :)

I'll be working on my books, hopefully, tomorrow night. :)

Happy holiday to all of you! I'm cooking dinner after church for the 4 of us, my mom, and my aunt and uncle. I don't know how this works--I'm the only one who works, yet I always wind up doing the holiday meals....maybe, because my house is bigger? Anyway, my kids are grown, but I may make them hunt Easter eggs anyway. No grandbabies yet, but Bailey, the peke, might like boiled eggs..he eats anything!
Since the kids have been grown, all our holiday pictures consist of everyone asleep on the sofa, loveseat, recliner, etc. after dinner. My goal this Easter is to keep them awake long enough to get a good family picture! Wish me luck! Have a happy day!

A Happy Easter to all! My DH has to work (fire department) so DD and I will be going to my sister's for the day and stopping off at the fire station later. PTL!!!!!!!!!!

My hubby's a firefighter and on duty tomorrow, too! Our two dd's (2 years and 7 months) and I are going to his parents' house after church to have Easter dinner with the family. The out-of-town family is going to be here as well. Four of the six sibs will be there (although the missing sibs wives are bringing their kids.) All 10 grandchildren will be there, too. They are ages 12, 11, 11, 9, 8, 5, 2, 7 months, 4 months and 3 months. They have a small house so it's gonna be loud- should be an early afternoon for my two little ones! :) Gotta love 'em.

We'll also go to the "fire shashun and sit on the fudgerin" as my 2-year-old says it. :) ("fire station and sit on the fire engine.") Can't miss seeing Daddy on Easter Sunday! I'll be sure to get lots and lots of pictures with both my digital and regular cameras since he won't be there for the party at his parents' house.

We weren't planning on having any get-together for Easter, but we had an impromptu fish fry--my husband's spur of the moment party planning--typical. So the yard was full of people eating fish and fishing in our little pond out in the back yard. I took lots of photos. (Yes, Janie, he just had to try out that fish cooker we spotted in the back of his truck the other day. HA!)
