Ninecrow asked for more pictures of the whimsies hanging from trees and also asked how they attach. I've been using craft wire and just twisting it around with needle-nose pliers. It's not terribly pretty but it's functional. I was afraid the silicone alone wouldn't be enough, especially in a big Florida windstorm. I have some in trees and some hanging from an arbor that I can see from my patio. The hummingbirds and the bees can't believe this isn't a feeder! They've been all over it. Too bad I didn't catch the sun hitting this one. In sunlight the purple candlestick is beautiful. The bell was the bottom of a lamp I took apart. Please ignore the weeds growing through my pavers. Old chandelier bits are very sparkly too! This is one of my favorites. More purple glass and curled wire.

I have found (around here, anyway) GW is the most expensive...even more than new prices on some of their stuff. Church-sponsored TS have the better prices. (One of the church sponsored is the '48' place.) I only go to estate sales the last hour or so...they are ready to get rid of the stuff. Normally, when the estate sale is being held by some type of auction house, they get paid a percentage of what is sold. The last one I went to had quite a bit of silver left. Added up, the price was over $250. I asked the guy if they would take $15 for it. He said, "Give me $20 and you can have all of it." YYIIIPPPPEEE!!!! The best of all is the TS that sponsors the shelter for batter women and children. Their clothes are a standard price per piece but the other stuff is not priced. The same lady is there all the time. You just pile up what you want on the counter and she gives you a price. The more you go (to buy and/or donate), the better price she gives. I sometimes feel guilty walking out. I've even given her more than what she tells me on several ocassions.

OA and Sandi, The raven napkin ring was one of a set of four different-spider(YIKES),skull,raven,and I can't remember at the moment what the forth one was. Got them at Target as well as the napkins,tablerunner,purple skulls, and little black metal skeleton. The black and orange haunted house plates came from Michaels. DD, I never saw Psycho. Too chicken for scary movies! Luvs, the spiderweb plates came from Walmart,but the black cat is just a cut out shape from a package I bought. I liked it and laid it in the plate for some contrast decoration. Sorry. But I love your black cat. Judith, I can't wait to see the tree you create with all of that silver. Kathleen, I love your ghost placemats. Thanks Prosperity. I'm sorry you didn't have much luck finding Halloween items this year. I hope you find more next year. I had a fun day shopping. Oooooh hazel I can't wait :))))) I have all 3 of them open already! I think the watermelon is my favorite, but I love them all. I could just eat that watermelon one. lol.
