April Swap is here!!

All of you waiting so patiently for me to post Aprils swap. I promise I will post it Monday. I need to get my self organized..which I'm currently doing. Adding all of you to my address book! So look for the post sometime Monday, April 10th.

*If there are any of you who prefer to only use CM products and/or only CM and Mrs.Grossmans' stickers, Please let me know in an email. I would hate for any of you to miss out on a fun swap, because of this. I would match you up with other CM customers.

As with most of us, this winter has been hard on my garden. Herbs have done well through the cold though. A quick look and I have these to share: Curly parsley Lemon Thyme (pretty variegated) Oregano I also have seeds of basil, burgandy basil and borage. This begonia has done pretty well in the cold without being covered, in fact it is ready to bloom: I believe it's Joe Hayden, I can get maybe three cuttings. I have 60 roses and can post the list if anyone wants one started. I'll keep looking. I am interesting in landscape begonias, Acalypha hispida (chenille plant) and any old roses (cuttings are fine.) Hi everyone hope you had a Happy Easter! I have received one block from Linda. I have not received blocks from Christy and Cindy yet. I got to go view a large display of handmade quilts near Forest Hill, Louisiana, I think it might have been called Longleaf, Louisiana? yesterday - any way they had a beautiful display of quilts in preparation for the Heritage Festival this coming Saturday. So wish I had not forgotten my camera. Gave me lots of great ideas for future quilts. They had a beautiful pink and creme/white log cabin quilt - these were all large quilts, they had one with lighthouse blocks like 2ft x 3 ft blocks, and my favorite was one with flower baskets made of triangles and with flowers appliques coming out of the baskets - one even had a blue shrimp plant in bloom - was just too cool! And they were all local quilts. Is nice to know there are other quilters in central Louisiana. I have not met anyone in my small community who quilts. They have a quilting guild several towns away, but have not had time to go, maybe one of these days. Are any of you in quilting guilds? Best to you, Sandra

The pictures do not lie. I did enjoy myself heartily. All you guys have gorgeous dirt that your plants come in!!!!!. My limestone/caliche gravel is put to shame. LOL. I got some really special plants, some great agaves. Linda, I would have driven to Medina for that milkweed and ansonia. Special indeed and such a perfect match for my environs. I got home and almost stepped on a hog snake in my garden area that was tangled up in my tomato netting. scared the daylights out of me and my cat. The snake hissed and I had to cut him out before I started making a home for all my things. Still working on stuff. Looks like I am blowing off the C&S and LBJ wildflower sale. I got my plant fix. Thanks so much... Rebecca did finally get there with her birdbaths and we had a after swap swap on the curbside for about 45 minutes or more. She did come home with plants even though she missed the crowd.She got loads of natives loaded on her for her new place. Rebecca, you gets a raincheck next fall for the "IT" cactus.. She and her husband are great people! I love my birdbath. I am tempted to drill a hole and make it into a troth out of it but I am going to wait and let the the birds swim around.. I missed out on the cow poop. I WANT,... always next time.

The swrap where you are pared up and the limited is 5.oo put some of us got more then that and when Angie sends the name that you are pared up with you can get the things for that person.I e-mail that person to see what they want so that way there is no gesseing.

I've never done a swap before, and I am interested. Do you just mail things to different people? Could you give me more information? Will there be a swap for May? Can I join?
