Anyone convert headboard/bed frame from full to queen?

Finally, we have ordered a much-badly needed new mattress in queen size. We both had full-size beds before we were married. We've slept on DH's mattress since he finds my former one too soft.

Our master BR is my former set Lexington Seaside Retreat in distressed white, but I have an "antique" white iron headboard in full which does not look like it's ajustable. I cannot find the Lexington Seaside Retreat queen matching headboard at all on CL or ebay looking for more than a year, and that line is now discontinued. His old bed, now in the guestroom, is a full/queen but it is pickled oak and I keep banging my thigh into the footboard, so I really cannot stand it.

So, what do I need:

"conversion kit" from full to queen

OR

Can I just get a new queen frame to use with the current headboard

OR

Get a new iron headboard and frame (that's probably the most expensive option, and we've spent enough since I will need new linens).

Any help appreciated!
