Golfing papers and stickers

Hi! My friend, Janie, has a son who has golfed since he was just a little boy, and of course she has tons of photos of him golfing! She wants to make an album of his golfing career. Can you recommend a source of golfing papers and stickers? Do you have any creative ideas for page layouts, or how to compose her album? She would ask you herself, but she isn't the internet junky that I am. She only logs on like once a week! Can you imagine!!

Cut the pictures in round shapes like a golf ball and the set them on a tee cut from colored paper. She could also use the shape of the golf clubs and put the pictures into the end that you hit the ball with (I don't know much about the game as you can tell).

There is a Susan Branch package available through QVC homepage---always for sale or at least has been available for a month now. www.qvc.com and go to home section then it's either crafts or hobbies. Becky

Team specific stickers/die cuts/paper

Sticker Planet has NFL and Sports related team stickers. Just do a search using the words sticker planet. It maybe www.stickerplanet.com. Most stickers you find are going to be acid free, My BF is a BIG Tenn. Vols fan, so I found Vols note pads and tested them with a ph pen and they tested acid free. You could also contact the fan club for those teams asd find supplies that way. Love Penny

Hmmm...when I think of scrapping a golf-themed page, I can't help but picture the golf course. How about using a "tearing" technique with your cardstock to make the green hills? Just rip your paper and layer. It's such a neat effect for creating landscapes, maybe it will work here. Also, you could use green mulberry paper for grass or inbetween layers of green cardstock -- I just saw this in a magazine (February 2000 Creating Keepsakes?), it was cool! Hope that helps a little.

She could include shots of the place where he buys his supplies, with titles like "We've spent millions here!" or pictures of his favorite course. She could also use a golf hole flag with the numbers on it for his age at his birthday. Perhaps a shape of a golf towel with a photo of a bad day on the course, saying: Here he threw in the towel. She could photo copy the box his favorite golf balls come in repeatedly and make a page of that, or blow it up and put his picture in it like he is the new sponser for them. She could also cut out the shape of a trophy and put a good days photo in it. She could also photo copy his favorite golf pro and blow up or reduce their image so that she could cut them out and make them look like they are playing against him. Just a few ideas, I hope they help. Penny
