Reading back through what I wrote above it seems to come out negative when that is not what I intended. My father was a gardener who didn't know how to relax and it always seemed like drudgery to me, my mother, on the other hand liked to take us on day trips. We would go to Longleat, Bowood, Stow on the Wold etc. etc. we would walk amongst rhododendrons as big as a house and drive through rolling Wiltshire hills. Sometimes it was so boring I could cry. There was no purpose in what she was doing, she was only doing what she enjoyed, it rubbed off.

I'm a lurker here but I learned this from my MIL and it works better than anything else I've ever tried: a blow dryer on the low setting, and a little patience! It's amazing. You just aim the warm air onto your label/sticker for a couple of minutes then start at one corner and slowly peel. Takes it off like magic with no residue. I use this to get price stickers off too and at Christmas it's a godsend; I keep a blow dryer as part of my wrapping station in fact. Hope this helps.

I wonder how far it is from my laundry room window to the far end of the dog runs. My dogs are not huge barkers, they bark if someone comes onto our property, but they bark at the sirens too. We live just a few miles from the fire station and some days when the wind is right we can have barking a lot! I don't want my dogs to disturb my neighbors. I know there are several acres between us, but still! I may have to try it. I can't afford that many collars! Trish

I wish I could say the problem was resolved. My glass was changed.. It was better, not perfect and then a few months in I noticed what looked like a small crack in one panel. They said it was an imperfection, they changed that glass panel again. The new pane they replaced has no imperfections but I think the haze looks worse. The issue is called white haze, a defect in the manufacturing process. You can google it. I found the problem by doing research myself. The techs that came out from the supplier I ordered from didn’t know what it was. If you look at the glass straight on you don’t usually see it, but on a very sunny day you can , and definitely if you look at it from an angle. In my research I learned that tempered glass does allow for some haze, it’s the nature of the glass but it shouldn’t have big white streaks. The supplier I bought it from dealt with Windsor for me. The glass is made by Cardinal, which is a huge supplier who makes glass for most of the big window and door companies. I just think Windsor uses a lesser quality production. I’ve learned to live with It, but next time I will not buy from Windsor.
