Ooooops! It took me two years to get up the nerve to order from them, and mine is in that same shipment. Not knowing when they would arrive, I had them shipped to my school (sorry, I repeat myself). Every time my classrooom intercom sounded, I thought "This could be it", but it wasn't. You see, the office always notifies me when a package arrives. Then, I can send a student (who has completed his/her assignment) to the office to retrieve the package for me. It's such a thrill to see these students get excited and all those hands going up, saying "Pick ME, Pick ME!" Hee! Hee! I am hoping that this will happen the first part of next week.

Aggie, Very nice pictures! I'm also glad to hear that things are going well for you. I had planned on trying for Gulf Frits this year, but the Maypop seeds that I bought off of ebay didn't come up. I got so busy with the other plants that I have that I decided to forget that for this year. There's always next year. I want to wait a few years and try to get them on my own because I like surprises. :) I do want to see them here sometime during my lifetime so at some point I might order a couple kinds of butterfly eggs. I had a female BST lay an egg here one day, but something got it before I could get to it. I didn't see her lay any others. That was probably a week ago and I haven't seen her since. So you and I are about in the same boat with the BST's. I don't blame you for ordering the False Nettles and not wanting the Stinging Nettles. I don't want any of those here either. I have plants that resemble pictures of False Nettle that I've seen on the internet. I think I will take a picture of them sometime and post it here for a positive ID if someone here would be able to tell me if that's actually what they are. It's a plant that I have always considered a week and would pull them out whenever I saw them here. ARG! Cathy

Linda is a great source of some uncommon roses. I've ordered from her for several years, both from her website and from eBay. WONDERFUL lady to deal with. Now she's custom rooting some of Kim Rupert's roses I begged (pestered, cajoled...) Kim to send her. I can't wait until next Spring...welllllll, I guess I DO have to wait, lol. It never surprises me when I hear someone is happy with Long Ago Roses. John

Gardenchick , glad that you got your order within a week. I placed an order in March and have yet to receive it. I received an e-mail on May 26th stating that I need to be patient and that they are making headway with the orders that started on may 15th. They said that they had bad weather/frost and damaged some of their inventory. I have ordered from them before and was very satisfied with what I received. Shadow: that must be a bit irritating, seeing that I placed my order and received it within a week, and you're still waiting on an order placed in March. I guess they're busier than I thought. And maybe mine were just easy to find and ship. I can't wait to get my order......I have 9. I will keep it a surprise.......you will have to be patient as well and see my new purchases in the Alphabet. Hope your order gets shipped this week. Will they be planted in the ground? Or do you use pots at first? And the "Alphabet", that's not the threads that get started in January, is it? Cuz that's too long to keep us in suspense on what you bought.
