Hi everyone, glad to meet all of you. I too just found this forum, Im usually on the gardening forum but I have been busy scrapbooking for the past month! Glad I stopped in! My name is Pam and I live in the Chicago area with my husband Glenn and dog Snickers our only Daughter is away at College. Glenn and I are both retired but still work a couple day a week as consultants. I started scrapbooking about a month ago and have become totally addicted ......worse than my gardening addiction!!!! And that's bad! But I love it, hubby asks if I'm going to take my scrapin stuff out in the yard during the summer to work on both hobbies...I laugh and say... maybe :o). But I can't believe how much money I have spent on supplies etc. But I will definately use everything I have. I started with my Daughters baby pictures and am working my way up thru the years. Some of the picture are pretty bad (due to my photo taking skills at that time) but I have gotten better over the years. My main objective is to get to the heritage photos but that will be awhile. Well happy scrappin to all of you, hope to visit again soon otherwise I'll be scrappin away!!!

Dear Sarah, Check out the posting a "site for a beautiful letter" on this forum, I think it is on page 5. It has a clip art section for lettering. I am not sure if it will give you any problems printing or not but it's worth a try. Penny

Hi- I have 4 albums started, I skip around alot. I work on one then in the midle of doing that one I may get an ideal and start on another one..... tonight I have done 10 pages in my wedding album....I was married over 7 years ago..but I am just now starting on it. I would love to start an ABC album...but it will have to wait.....keep on scrappin!!!

I just finished an ABC/123 Scrapbook for my son. What I did was I used a CM Sentiments album ( a real good size) and the first page was A. So I used stickers and Diecuts with words that are appropriate for A. For example, Airplane, apple, Apron, ant,.... Then I did this for all of the letters in the alphabet. I also incorporated photos in the album as well. Like for letter "G" Grandmother Smith, .. or for "U" Uncle Joe.. After letter Z, I then did a numbers part from 1 to 10. So for number 1, I put a Die Cut of a #1 in the corner and a large Diecut of a clown - thus showing one item. For #8, I placed 8 stickers of a dog , and so on. Once complete, this album can be used as a learning tool for children.
