Nate, I am doing fine with Photobucket, but it does have a learning curve. Julia had an excellent post on it not long ago. Not many of us like change, and I surely didn't, but it works pretty well now. not perfect, but pretty good. kay

well darn I posted a reply but it apparently disappeared into the nether land. I did go to the site and read all the info I could find, I like that it does sound like it is private and only those you share a direct link with can view it. The things that caused me a little concern was the very sparse and strangely worded terms of service. Also they say they DO allow adult content which is very strange all other hosting sites prohibit it strongly. Also some of the grammar and spelling is very poor which suggest a site outside of the US which can be ok but normally on this type of site you would at least want a polished appearance. I am willing to try it out though. I still prefer imageshack over all but I don't upload a lot of pics.

Zep to the rescue. Thank you. I was afraid they would pull them from the site by tomorrow. I got them to the desktop. How did you get them to PB so fast? I've been taking "the long way home." And they're not there yet.

Thanks. I have opened a trial acct at smugmug, also pbase and zenfolio. I think the reason people here use photobucket almost exclusively is that the other 3 sites apparently arent compatible with GW. Even using the same html code as I use with pbucket, I cannot embed photos from smugmug or pbase. the photos just don't show up here. ugh. back to photobucket, i guess.
