Rita - the wisteria bed started off as the Chinese wisteria in an extension of the driveway bed, then a small bed was added at the other end of the lawn for the Japanese wisteria, and finally last year I connected to two when making a defined path in front of the main perennial bed. So it took 10 years to get to that point! But it was a huge improvement and ties everything together nicely. I'm a strong believer in the 'genius loci' (spirit of the place). The entire garden here has gone in step by step as things feel 'right'. When we put one thing in, it seems to call for another, and what that goes in, something else is needed - and so on.... I spend a lot of time just walking around the garden and looking at it, waiting for it to tell me what it wants to be :-)

We have at least one, and I very much remember that one of them is in an area that was devastated early this year by cut-worms, but I was amazed that this cultivar was un-touched by said pest. Sorry, no picture available, but trust me, it's the only plant still showable in that bed, woo-hoo Good deal, get one or more, and it will be a good plant! hh

hey babs.. MERRY CHRISTMAS ... is there any reason to think.. that perhaps some level of over-fert may have led to its lack of sleep.. sorta like the old days when i was a teen .. when i would drink a big pepsi in late evening ... and then lay there twitching in bed for hours.. wondering why i couldnt fall asleep?? can you ID any reason why this one did NOT want to go dormant??? there might be a species reason.. in its dna.. but there should really be a 'cultivar' reason ... though i am too lazy to look up the cross on this one ... HAPPY NEW YEAR TOO!!!! ken

You could try e-mailing Gloria who posted it on April 8. Maybe she still has it. Just click on "my page" on her post and then click on "send me an email"

Beautiful Charlene, it is so sweet.
Do you mean her subtle drop shodow & cutout presets? I have them, you can download them from the tutorial page.
On the tutorial page it reads, My most commonly used presets are here.I find them very useful. Hope this helps
