Ta da! I'm the 2007 Pal that Jeanne sent the card to, what a delightful surprise. I'll have to look up your town on a map to see where in SC you are Jeanne, my sweetie is opening a new facility in your beautiful state and I may be visiting the area occasionally. I was slammed right up to Christmas this year, so did not get a note to my new Pal - YET! But I'm dropping a little something in the mail to her today as a late December treat to help pamper her after the holidays. Happy New Year y'all! Alicia

Whoooeeeeeee this Robin is in the home stretch. It seems SO long ago that it was here in Fairbanks Alaska. I love the idea that someone is typing up the journal so we can each read what all the others wrote. I'd also love to be at Shannon's house when that Little Bird comes home. What a party that would be. I'm looking foreward to reading about what the Robin brings home from his trip. Amy bless your heart for all the patient waiting you have done. I know you must be excited to finally have the robin visit you. How nice, and appropriate that Shirley sent you some real special goodies. You deserve an extra star for waiting so long.

Awwww, Ginger, thank you. You are very sweet. I just re-posted because the original was MIA for a while. That was a lot of work. Let me see: The cabinets were ordered online through Cabinet Giant in Kansas City, I think. The are cherry stained maple, solid wood, dovetailed full-extension drawers with soft close. They are RTA which sounds scary, but I'll tell you, aside from the lazy susan and the pantries, each cabinet took around 7 minutes to put together. The color is Brindleton Maple- the Reserve Line. The counter top is Corian Dusk (light speckled gray) the integrated sink is white. The floor below froggy is Brazilian Cherry Natural- not wood, but Mannington Revolutions Diamond Bay laminate. The photo above is a Grohe, which I do like. I would like to find more options, however. I think we're going with an Americast tub vs. cast iron. The Kohler villager seemed to be narrow at the front end, IIRC. I shower and never bathe, so heat retention performance isn't important to me.

I enjoyed and am having FUN making them. The great part is, is they are stored in OE for you to bring up when wanted.
