Just want to say thanks to everyone who posted

a few new links to check out on frugality....It has been interesting reading for the most part. I would encourage any of you who come across anything you think is informative to post it here for the rest of us. It never hurts to read another point of view.....you can take it or leave it but it just might help someelse out of tight spot. So again my thanks for sharing.

Hi Ma.

We used to say that it wasn't really serious to talk to yourself - but it was when you started to answer yourself back that you needed to be concerned for the legitimacy of your perspective on life (i.e. sanity).

How helpful of you to forestall Bud's possible need to do that.

David welcome back. I do hope that this time around you will not get sick when you have to move the plants in. I would love to look at your pictures. Old or new....I LOVE pictures. Melly, driving a backhoe IS fun! Actually, once you get past the fact that it's hard work, much of farming is fun. I spend all day in the office, wishing I could figure out how to make a living on the farm. I'd way rather clean calf pens and string barbed wire than do research and draft briefs. Sigh. Still, my job pays for my farming, so I guess I'll keep at it. LOL Annie

Mara, welcome and good luck.. you have come to a very useful site for help. It's by far the best research tool I have found to help give clients an independent unbiased way to research and get opinions from a wide variety of people. Its only a part of the research you end up doing and need to do but it is a good one! Dont rule out aesthetics just because its small and functional. They are not mutually exclusive of one another.

I agree! I *love* this place. We probably wonÂt begin our remodel until Spring of 2012. Just think of everything I will know by then! It will be interesting to see if a white kitchen with a white marble island and soapstone perimeters are still what I want. :-)
