I just wanted to say THANKS...

To all of you who share your ideas, opinions, experiences and especially your pictures (including inspirations). I really do appreciate it all. Even if I don't post always, I often read. I can't tell you how many issues you all have solved for me even without my asking.

So, just before my remodel gets totally crazy, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone.

My kitchen is fully operational today, and I have been moving in over the last several days. I am SO pleased with how functional and beautiful it is, all because I found this forum. I can't thank you all enough!

Lesley, My husband laughed and said "tell her to put her head in the oven and she will feel like she's at home!" lol And only thing worse was the Arizona desert! He had work in Houston a few months back. I had read you used to live there so I emailed you to ask if you could recommend any places to buy Hoyas. I ended up going to "another place in time". The sounds of a satisfied wormer is pretty nice, too. Ever put the towel cardboard rollers in the bin intact? I do it that way to introduce little air spaces into the environment.

Trin, God works in strange ways and always makes some good come from bad. I don't believe that he causes bad things to happen, but allows them, and only He knows the reasons. I agree! I *love* this place.

We probably wonÂt begin our remodel until Spring of 2012. Just think of everything I will know by then! It will be interesting to see if a white kitchen with a white marble island and soapstone perimeters are still what I want. :-)
