Eva, my prayers are with Barbara, her sons and you during this sad time. She is much too young to die. ((((Eva, Barbara & sons))))

Sorry, yes, LeAudra is my niece, my brother's child. I've never had children; she was the first of all the nieces and nephews and has always been "my special baby." Of course, now that's there's 12 of them, all the neieces and nephews are "my special babies," but she's my special first-born girl, just as Christopher is my special first-born boy. I'm very fortunate that her mother, my SIL, has always "shared" and let her visit whenever I wanted. She spent most of every summer, from age one until she was 16, with me.

Awww... Uncle Scott! A beautiful niece! Baby Girl all grown up and "...She's a young bride, going out of the door." (I think of that song at weddings.) You are right. The gown is lovely, and it's perfect for her.

I will once it's completed. I'm waiting for the island lights for the final effect. I met a designer years ago who said why match anything?--Make your design as if you picked this piece up at the Paris flea market and that was from the market in Marrakesh. I have traveled all over the world and have some fun things. I think the end result will be nice but I haven't gotten far with the furniture yet. I'm going to tie it all together by looking for colors that work together. For example, the Mexican tile and recycled glass should blend into the colorful Moroccan carpets I'll put in the living room, dining room, and niche. Throw in some insane Roche Bobois sofas and it will either be amazing or hurt people's eyes. I just know I'll love it.
