Thanks, everyone, for your good wishes. I will let Barbara's kids know what sweet friends I have. I saw Barbara at the nursing home in Temple on the 27th - my birthday. She was talkative, laughing with me, said radiation was finished the Friday before and she was gonna undergo several tests starting the 28th. We were talking about bringing her out to the lake before summer is over. The new tests revealed that the cancer was in her spine. Others this week showed it is in all her vital organs. Tonight her body is shutting down. I've had a grandson this week, will take him to meet my son in the morning, then head to Barbara. This has happened so fast! Again, thanks.
