How to do roof of bump-out?

Help. I'm working on adding a bump-out in my kitchen to accomodate a long window seat. The bump-out will be about 24" deep and 7 feet wide. I am planning on sistering the floor joists of the bump-out to the existing floor joists and then adding a few posts on the ends to help support the base. But I'm having trouble with the roof area.

The kitchen has a shed roof above it that flows toward the area where the bump out will be. It has a 7/12 pitch. Ideally, I'd like to just extend the roofline out over the bump out but the slope is great enough that I would loose ceiling height in the bump out area. I really want the ceiling to be the same height as the rest of the room.

So, I'm looking for other options for the roof. Here's a couple of photos of the back of my house. The bump-out will be be pretty much the entire area to the right of the screen porch. It will become all windows. I realize the downspout will need to be moved.
