Have a prayer request

Tony's supervisor has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He has surgery the end of July, The drs think they have 95% chance of getting it all. He is still scared and worried. So could you please add him to your prayer list?? He is very religious so if you know of other prayer list please add him to it.

I just talked to my SIL and she says that Dean is holding his own. I guess that is a good thing but you want to hear so much better than that.It is just hard when I am in Florida and I want to be in Texas with him.I have another prayer request,this one for my husband.I spent the morning at the doctors with him and he has been having problems swallowing food and they say he needs an Esophagal Dialation.It is a good thing that I believe in prayer or I would be feeling pretty lost right now. Sending prayers her way. Thyroid cancer is almost always fully cureable. Once the thyroid is gone she'll be put on thyroid hormones.. that may take away the depression. Best wishes for her.

I will get Rick's last name from Tony tonight.

Tami_Ohio-Tony is just fine I think he was off 2 days. I am doing ok. You are never the same after Electro Shock Therapy, I have memory blanks, I have a tremors, have bouts where I can't remember words in a sentence. Oh Tony and I are fighting with some things off the internet that I signed up for. I don't remember ordering. Other than the internet problem the rest are mild...so I am doing okay.

Prayer just said that the cancer is contained to the prostate and has not spread and will need no further treatment just like when my hubby had it.

After the surgery please update and let us know.

DH had his prostate removed 6 weeks ago because of cancer. He had the choice of removal, or radiation and we chose the removal, for various reasons.

Medical surgeries have come a long way! His was done robotically and the recovery and hospital time is cut drastically. He was released the next morning.

A common side-effect is incontinence. Hubby wears Depends all the time, but he hasn't had any accidents where he leaked out. He makes sure he goes to the washroom every couple of hours, so even when we're out for a length of time, he goes to the washroom.

At first he couldn't feel his bladder, and didn't know when it was full. That has changed.

I texted Tony and his supervisor's name is Rick Curl. I promise I will update everyone after his surgery.
