If you look through that single pink picture,at the 1-3 o'clock position you can see a "shredded pink"flower.That's the only one she has produced so far.I think a shredded pink would be nice as a curiosity. Now here are pictures of another new one.'Goldfinch' has been released and a few are in circulation.Nice yellow/orange on a small plant.Huge number of trumpets per flush.Plants stay small(3-4 feet) for pot culture.

Njmomma, Thanks! Yes, I am sure that that is Outrageous. Mine recurves a lot more later in the season, but it NEVER fails to have such standout coloring. Rita, When you were talking about AB not opening well for you last year, I was in the same boat. I find it very odd that it is doing so well for me now when the weather has been so poor...go figure. Went on a massive orange kick a couple of years ago, so should have several to share pics of this year! Lala, Missouri Memories is always that picture perfect for me BUT...I have had it for six years, and it only has two scapes on it AGAIN. Could be the location, but could also be that it would prefer a warmer world. I am not short on room, so still enjoy having it in my garden very much, but if I was limited on space, I would look for an alternative. Renee, EQ varies for me between yellowish and cream. Seems like the cooler it is, the yellower it is. Love it in all of it's forms though! Debra, Jersey Spider is one of my favorites for a bright stunning show. Mine just popped two days ago, but looks like it will put on quite a show...hope yours does the same! Vickie, I have been very unpatiently waiting for blooms, but having this forum definitely makes it easier. I console myself with the fact that I will be blooming until September! Val, I have huge empathy for anyone who is still cooler than us! Hope your blooms come soon! It has almost finally started to feel like summer here in the last three or four days. Thanks again for the comments! I got some nice pics again last night and will try to post a few more today. I love seeing pics of lilies that others are fond/proud of, as it gives you so much more input than a catalogue. Down side is that if people on this forum rave about something ( like Rocket City, which I tried like crazy to find last fall and EVERYONE was sold out!!), it is sometimes hard to find! Julie, the tag line in my photos is not of the nursery that I have purchased from, but rather the name that I have chosen to use when I trade and/or sell (and hopefully soon register a few seedlings!) We have gotten a little overgrown, and are planning to sell at local farm markets and such, and I wanted a way to assure peopel that the photos that I use when I tag them were really from the plant that they are purchasing! The nursery thing would be a fantastic idea though... although I think that it very likely could overwhelm some of the small growers as it is way too easy to want just about everything that you see on this forum!! Hi Gang, Thanks for the nice words. Well, the Hydro growing H. kerrii varieg. seems quite slow. I only bought it last Sept. & don't really see new growth yet. However, can you see it's rather lopsided? Because of that, it has to be on the edge of something like in the photo. Well, where you see it is on the edge of some furniture (& in front of a window), btwn my bedroom & the kitchen. I come around this corner a lot & fast & I bumped it accidentally & the whole thing went flying. Wet leca stones everywhere, they're round so they roll, right? Can you guess that the branch that broke was the vine w/ 3 peduncles that hadn't yet set bud? Arggggggggg. I tried to save that vine but it was leafless so of course, it didn't make it. I don't know how old this is but am guessing it's quite old, Âcause these are such slow growers. The particular Hydro supplier I used & who came to speak at my Indoor Gardening Society last fall was: www.creativehydroponics.com Creative Hydroponics 379 Amwell Rd Hillsborough, NJ 08844 Hope it's OK to list this here, I have no financial interest in them, just bought their plant. But 'cause this is so interesting & I had more Leca stones, I've started two other small Hoyas in Hydro. Helps that I have tiny lattice type pots, so I've set the lattice pots in a larger cup w/ Leca stones on the bottom & keep an inch of water in the bottom. I don't have meters for them but water every couple of days & they're doing well. I'll try to get pix maybe in a few days, but it's some H. nummularioides & H. bella. Numm does OK for me in mix, but I've lost several Bellas over the years including a beautiful variegate which is hard to find. Bellas can be very water fussy, they want more than normal moisture, but not too wet -- quite a difficult balance IÂve found. Don't know if some of you remember, but some of us have grown H. kerrii varieg before w/ a lot of trouble. Not only very slow, but often aborts its new leaves, or grows them into the side of a heavy clay pot which will abort them. This Kerri varieg I've noticed has leaves quite close together & then long stretches of bare stem, doesn't really present good spots to cut it. I'd thought I'd try to cut a few pieces make it less lopsided, but doesn't seem so doable right now. Maybe IÂll try that again later in Spring.
