Finally learned to post photos-I hope

Here are a couple of pictures of a new one...'Jinny Lind'.

She puts on a big flush about every six weeks.Color is a little darker in summer.Good fragrance too.

Sue, you are very welcome. The first time I tried to post a picture (many years ago), it took me all day and half of the night to figure it out :-). It's so easy when you finally "get" it but so perplexing until you do. BTW, your photo's were wonderful. I hope to see a lot more! Carol

Good post. When I first started rooting figs, I put one in a container, not realizing the container was black and would attract heat. The poor little fig stayed alive, but only had 2 leaves for 3 years! Finally a friend told me to douse it really good with water, like 3 times, then put a diluted miracle grow over it. Then cover that black pot with foil. It was a miracle. I was frying it's roots, and didn't know. The little thing finally grew. It is now a big tree in ground. The best thing that happened was the tree did have FMV, but after the root frying ordeal, the FMV is gone. There is research on that topic, but I'm not into that, so all I know is, "It is what it is."

Thanks, all! Julia, both beds were all grass; I created the closer one around the deck and then gradually expanded it out over a few years, decided to have it go out as a peninsula. A lot of the daylilies DO get hit by the sprinklers, just because they are where there used to be lawn... a few of the sprinklers were replaced with taller pop-up ones, but they still pelt some of the plants and the plants block the spray in several areas, so that all don't get hit. Mantis, Deliverer was super splotchy last year, but hasn't been this year... others have been very splotchy this year though. I'll have to check on Bullfrog Kisses and get back with you. I think it would definitely be happier somewhere warmer, but it does okay (not much increase though). Debra, I use Osmocote, Milorganite and alflafa pellets when planting and around most of my daylilies in the spring... I don't think I did them all this year though - with the long winter and late spring, I didn't get all my spring tasks and cleanup done.

If you look through that single pink picture,at the 1-3 o'clock position you can see a "shredded pink"flower.That's the only one she has produced so far.I think a shredded pink would be nice as a curiosity.
Now here are pictures of another new one.'Goldfinch' has been released and a few are in circulation.Nice yellow/orange on a small plant.Huge number of trumpets per flush.Plants stay small(3-4 feet) for pot culture.

This one is a hybrid by Elke Dubach.I am not a big fan of doubles but I have to admit both the color and form of this one are beautiful.The name is Mon Amour de Mareuil.

LOL!!! I know I already said WOW.. but WOW!!! That is beautiful I'm not a big yellow fan but the coral/peach on that makes it absolutly FAB!!!! Is this one you will be offering?

Gone2seed you might not be a big fan of doubles but I think they're beautiful! The color combination on the flower in the second photo is gorgeous.

I am using this one for breeding right now.It will be cut up later for rooting.Might have some by late spring.In the meantime,another member of this forum has a few for sale.
